Vintage Drafting Table desk by Dietzgen
1910’s Extremely rare Eugene Dietzgen, "Shamrock" series Drafting Table.
The entire table has been sanded, stained, and has multiple coats of polyurethane. All cast iron parts have been meticulously stripped freed from rust and paints.
The 1-inch thick top is 43 3/4 x 60 inches. The remarkable vintage table shows its exquisiteness and age, showcasing a perfectly carved slot to hold a dipping pen box and inkwell, a common characteristic for drafting tables and desk in the early 1900’s.
The height and tilt are adjustable in a number of ways. with the top set horizontally, the table goes from 31 to 44 inches tall. The legs have a smart curved cut, ensuring that the table stands steady no matter the height or angle. A 36-inch-wide oak drawer and cast-iron draw pull was added to bring the piece to its original design
The table is perfect as a standing, sitting, tilted work station for arts, crafts, and whatever else can benefit from a large flexible working surface.
